The Idea started in 2013: A retaining wall on the North end of McGuffey is aging concrete and none too pretty. Why not create a “canvas,” which can host a rotating collection of murals? And thus began a Tom Tom tradition of installing a new mural each year on the wall at the start of the spring festival 

On Friday April 12, 2013, at the McGuffey Block Party, David Cook (U.Va. 4th Year) completed a modern geometic composition across the 90' long wall. 

In 2014 we are pleased to announce that the wall will be completed by collective of graffiti artists from across the state of Virgina. They will assemble on Friday April 11 to complete the wall within the weekend.
