Mr. Freire is a Brazilian-born American entrepreneur and inventor. As the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of OpenQ, Mr. Freire is responsible for the creation of OpenQ’s enterprise technology solutions, that enable customers in global, regulated industries to significantly impact their sales, marketing risk management and compliance efforts. Mr. Freire brings rich experience in social media applications, internet commerce and information technology serving industries including pharmaceutical, financial services and retail. His expertise spans software development, customer relationship management systems, content management technologies, and social media. OpenQ’s Social SafeGuard platform has received significant amount of attention following its original release including the Wall Street Journal, Information Week and CBS.

Mr. Freire is a guest lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Engineering at the School of Engineering at the University of Virginia and also at the MBA and EMBA program at the Darden Business School. He holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden Business School and a MSc in Information Systems from Bowie State University where he graduated top of his class and an Undergraduate in Civil Engineering from Universidade Federal da Bahia – Brazil.
