Kirby Farrell is President and CEO of Broad Axe Care Coordination, a Charlottesville-based eHealth firm that provides Remote Care Management Services to improve patient care transitions and reduce preventable readmissions. Kirby has worked in the broadband networking and Health Care IT industries for more than 30 years, starting as Manager of Coopers & Lybrand's Telecom Consulting Practice in New York, and then going on to found companies that provided secure broadband services to the U.S. Department of Defense and to major healthcare systems.
