Grits N Gravy is a Charlottesville-based retro soul and deep funk DJ duo featuring WTJU’s Robin Tomlin and Colin Powell. On Friday nights you can catch them spinning at Cville’s very own R2 in the back of Rapture. Their nostalgic, dance-inducing funk favorites are accompanied by projections of iconic films and dance clubs from the 60’s and 70’s, creating a dopamine spiking multi-sensory experiential time warp. It’s a local favorite not to be missed.
