Anatomy of Frank is a very unique five-piece indie outfit. Although they’re all Charlottesville locals, their sound has a distinctly international quality due largely to each member’s ties to other regions of the world. The band combines elements of post-rock, punk, and feel-good indie pop into a wholly original and festival-ready mixture. Anatomy of Frank excel on record--in fact, their debut album, Pangaea, marks the beginning of a mission to record an album on every continent. However, their upbeat live shows set them apart from other like-minded indie bands, and these five are all TTFF veterans. Anatomy of Frank is not to be missed.
